Please read the instructions below on how to proceed.

    Important points

    • This is a timed exam and has two parts.
      • Part A 15 Minutes
      • Part B + C Combined 45 Minutes
    • Once started it cannot be stopped or paused. Therefore, we suggest you set aside 60 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the whole test.
    • It will feel just like the real exam, so stay focused and complete all 3 parts in consecutive order.
    • Do Part A first, then proceed directly to Part B and C.
    • After you complete the Mock test, refer to the detailed answer key to check your score. Add the scores of Part A and Part B/C to get your total score.
    • For Reading Part A, correct spelling is required in order to get a mark. Please note however, if you make a typo, or leave an accidental space, it will be computer marked as incorrect.  Therefore, use your common sense to over-rule answers that are marked incorrect by the computer where appropriate.
    • Please note,  you can do the exam a maximum of 3 times, so you are welcome to try again for a better score and to build your skills.

     Part A Marking Guide
The real Part A Reading Test will be marked by a human using a detailed criteria on what they deem to be acceptable answers. Therefore, they can and will use more discretion when deciding if an answer is correct.
However, the computer system does not do that and shows no mercy if you make a typo, add an extra space or provide a slightly different answer!  surprise. So although your answer may have been marked incorrect by the computer, please use your own judgement to decide if your answer is correct, and you can overrule the computer! big grin
